I believe it's due to high property prices. If you're going to have several dogs, you're not going to do so in a high rise, or a house with a tiny yard. The lack of Boxer puppies for sale in Long Island is not surprising. I can't imagine what it costs there to own the 15 acres I have here in Kentucky.
